This is where you'll be able to follow us on our mission to make learning from movement accessible and sustainable.
With an ageing population, demoralising waiting lists and increasing demand for services, the NHS must find innovative solutions to maintain the quality of care while reducing costs. One such solution yet to be implemented is remote monitoring of patient range and quality of motion.
A consortium led by Agile Kinetic Limited has secured funding from Innovate UK for a project titled "Movement Analysis for Musculoskeletal Precision Medicine". The project, conducted in partnership with Cardiff University's Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Facility (MSKBRF) and Acumed Ltd, seeks to revolutionise the diagnosis, monitoring, and post-surgery or injury recovery of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
Students interested in biomechanics and movement analysis rarely gain access to analysis systems until they reach university. Furthermore, universities in less affluent nations do not have access to such technology at all. AI computer vision is enabling web-based applications which can address these challenges and expand access to the field.
Mae consortiwm o dan arweiniad Agile KineticLimited yn falch o gyhoeddi ei fod wedi derbyn cyllid gan Innovate UK, asiantaetharloesi y DU ar gyfer prosiect sy’n torri tir newydd o’r enw "DadansoddiSymudiadau ar gyfer Meddygaeth Gyhyrysgerbydol Fanwl". Mae’r cyllidhwn yn rhan o gystadleuaeth “Hyrwyddo Meddygaeth Fanwl” Innovate UK, syddwedi’i hanelu at gefnogi prosiectau ymchwil a datblygu arloesol a allaidrawsnewid y maes meddygaeth fanwl.
We are working very closely with a number of innovative NHS and private clinicians to solve major healthcare challenges, and are always excited to learn about other opportunities to drive progress and collaborate
